Brenda has a combined 13 years of experience in the architectural industry. She is passionate about exploring the connections between human emotions and our built environment, uncovering the elements which affect us unconsciously in either positive or negative ways, and focusing on those during the design process in hopes of creating better human-emotion-oriented buildings. She believes that these identified elements should be incorporated first into residential designs, as that is where one should feel the most secure and at peace, followed closely by workplace, educational, and healthcare spaces. Brenda’s role as Project Architect in the Omaha office includes working on projects from conceptual design through construction completion. In addition, she is involved in mentoring our intern architects and being an active community member!
